Roughly three months ago Book TV hosted a debate between Christopher Hitchens and Dinesh D’Souza. Hitchens is one of the “new breed” of aggressive atheists that have erupted onto public debate forum. Hitchens’s most notable work, “God is not great; how religion poisons everything” has been on several best-seller lists. Dinesh D’Souza could also be considered part of a “new breed” himself… except that he’s an evangelical apologist. His most recent book, “What’s so great about Christianity” has also made its way onto best-seller lists. It has definitely made my “gonna have to read it” list. Shoot, I may even read Hitchens’s book if I can find a cheap, used copy of it somewhere.
